Marty Lyons Foundation and Bethpage Burger Bar Bring Joy to New York at Grand Opening

--

People are working hard to thrive during the pandemic, especially in New York.

This Friday, Bethpage Burger Bar celebrated its official grand opening to a socially distanced packed crowd that brought their memorabilia and hearty appetites. Guests were greeted by Greg Buttle, former NY Jets Linebacker and Marty Lyons, former NY Jets Defensive End who autographed copies of his recently published book If These Walls Could Talk.

Owner, Harry Singh along with A2Z restaurant consultant Eddie Fahmy were on hand and excited to see how many guests came out in support of the grand opening. Singh donated 10% of the proceeds from the day’s grand opening receipts to the Marty Lyons Foundation.

“I am thankful we have another person that’s willing to take a chance to open up a restaurant,” stated the NFL legend. “And just as importantly, there are people out here in the community that can help create a partnership. It is a great opportunity for us…It’s not always about the money that you raise at a certain event. It’s about the awareness. We are all here to change the life of the child.”

DJ Chef was on hand spinning the beats while guests were enjoying what has been touted the best burgers, chili, wings and mouth-watering milk shakes topped off with Chonky Cookies on Long Island.

Many children and families left full and happy agreeing that they just finished the best burgers on LI and met two of the greatest Jets to play the game.

Here is to another great moment in New York State that proves we are #NYTOUGH.
